The Wild-Vision Collection is an exhibition of art prints by John Beatty. The selection of images, all inspired by nature, are printed onto cotton canvas, stretched and sealed with Giclée varnish for a permanent protected finish. Prints can be grouped in themes or printed as individual canvases.

Aerial Arctic

Lancaster Sound melting pack ice at the end of the Arctic winter. Sawyer Glacier glacial melt pools. Cumberland Bay, Somerset Island. Latitude 73 above the Arctic Circle. Migrating Beluga Whales come to these shale shallows to moult their surface hide. Up to 500 whales assemble from open waters as far as 1400 miles away on the Davis Straight to Point Barrow, the two extremities of the Northern Canadian Coast. Ice Sheet Sculpture on the Waddington Ice Sheet in the South Alaskan Range.

English Woodland

Harebell, bluebell, stitchwort, ragged robin and foxglove from the ancient flower rich meadows and woodland glades of Britain.

Mountain Culture

Prayer flags flying from Tyangboche monastery stupa. Prayers are written on these cloths and rags. The action of their blowing with the wind allows the prayers to be taken away the wind. Nuptse (7200m). Raven on the crown of a chorten, an iconic structure from which to hang religious objects. Nepalese girl from a remote community of Gurung people in the Ganesh Himal.

Alaskan Marine

Orca, Orcinus orca signalling with tail slaps, Queen Charlotte Islands. Orca usually live in groups of 10 -12. Occasionally a lone bull will travel across 100's miles of ocean. Seen here 'tail slapping' as an announcement of his presence to potential suitors. Ice Berg in 'Wood Spit' This Ice Berg breoke off the glacier and floated 18 miles down a fjord to be stranded in shallow fjord entrance. Orca or Killer Whale, Orcinus orca, male and female. Prince William Sound, South west Alaska. Orcas arrive in this area every year to coincide with the movement of salmon that migrate south from the arctic waters of Chukchi Sea.

New England Fall

The White Mountains of North Conway in New England have hundreds of square miles of deciduous woodland - The Appalachian Mountains of New England. The most colourful species of leaf in the Autumn are the Aspen and the Maple. The intensity of colours each year varies according to the amount of sugar in the sap of the previous season. North East Coast America famous for its colours in the Fall it is equally famous for its Maple syrup made from the tree which is tapped on an annual basis and collected in a similar manner to rubber.

Om Mani Padme Hum

Buddhists believe that saying the mantra (prayer), Om Mani Padme Hum, out loud or silently to oneself, invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion. Viewing the written form of the mantra is said to have the same effect - it is often carved into stones, like the one pictured, and placed where people can see them. This Lunar Landscape of bare Peat is unique in the English Pennines. Frosty Peat Hags are frozen in the foreground to a depth of 12 feet and behaves like Arctic Permafrost resembling Arctic Tundra. The light is refracting through mist of suspended ice spiceules. (Dust like specs of ice) to give this distinctive Orange Glow. 10 Below Zero

Saharan Desert Sky, Bryce Canyon Hoodoos, Appalachian woodlands, Malibu night beach.

Emotion

Victoria Falls where the Zambezi plunges 600\' from basalt cliffs. The mist from the falling river creates a unique environment of tropical forest around the edges of the chasm. The Okavango Delta, and inland delta, where the Chobe River sinks into Kalahari sands. The moment at sunset when animals come down in the safety of the onset of darkness to drink. Botswana, Africa. Nepal Himal from Gokhyo. Makalu and Cholatse can be seen along the ridge. Table Mountain. Cold Atlantic sea fog rising over Table mountain the most southern part of the African Continent.

Out Of Africa

Male Lion from the Serengeti. Chobi River from Botswana, Namib Desert. Dunes from the air. Girl with mud braided hair a common decorative feature amongst the ancient tribes of Africa.
